Peer Review Policy

The Global Journal of Pharmaceutical and Scientific Research (GJPSR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and integrity in all published content. To achieve this, the journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure fairness and impartiality.

All submitted manuscripts first undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to check the scope, originality, ethical compliance, and adherence to the journal’s guidelines. A plagiarism check is also performed before the manuscript is sent for review. Only manuscripts that meet the basic criteria are forwarded to reviewers.

Each manuscript is then evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The reviewers carefully assess the relevance, originality, scientific accuracy, methodology, significance of results, and overall contribution to knowledge. They also consider the clarity, coherence, and quality of the writing. Reviewers are required to maintain confidentiality and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions: accept without revision, accept with minor revisions, revise and resubmit (major revisions required), or reject. This ensures that only high-quality and meaningful research is published.

The peer review process typically takes 2–6 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers and the time taken by authors to submit revisions. Throughout the process, the journal keeps authors informed about the status of their manuscript.

Through this transparent and structured peer review policy, GJPSR ensures that every published article upholds scientific credibility, adheres to ethical standards, and contributes to the advancement of pharmaceutical and scientific research globally.
